Location: 100% Remote

Job Type: Contract through 12/31/2026 with potential to convert to full time based on performance/business needs

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer.

The SharePoint Developer will support a large-scale enterprise SharePoint migration and modernization initiative. This individual will be responsible for migrating SharePoint 2016 content to SharePoint Online and OpenText Documentum D2, rebuilding SharePoint 2013 workflows in Microsoft Power Automate, and supporting validation and quality assurance activities throughout the migration lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Microsoft 365 governance, workflow automation, enterprise content management, and SharePoint migration best practices.

Responsibilities

  • This individual will analyze and migrate SharePoint 2016 content into SharePoint Online and OpenText Documentum D2 environments.
  • This individual will work with business stakeholders to review existing content and determine migration, archival, or disposition strategies.
  • This individual will redesign and rebuild legacy SharePoint 2013 workflows into Microsoft Power Automate cloud flows.
  • This individual will perform validation, testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance activities throughout migration and workflow modernization efforts.
  • This individual will coordinate with Microsoft 365 teams regarding governance, permissions, metadata, and sensitivity label alignment.
  • This individual will create workflow documentation, migration reporting, and knowledge transfer documentation.

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum five years of experience with SharePoint Online and Power Automate development.
  • Minimum five years of experience delivering SharePoint migration projects within government, utility, or enterprise environments.
  • Experience migrating SharePoint 2013, 2016, or 2019 on-premises environments into SharePoint Online.
  • Experience migrating SharePoint Designer 2013 workflows into Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Experience with SharePoint migration tools and enterprise content migration methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture including communication sites, team sites, document libraries, metadata, and permissions.
  • Experience with Power Automate cloud flows, approval workflows, scheduled workflows, and connector integrations.
  • Experience working within Microsoft 365 governance frameworks including retention policies and sensitivity labels.
  • Ability to work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and successfully implement migration and workflow solutions.

Preferred:

  • Experience with OpenText Documentum D2.
  • Experience with FME Migration-Center.
  • Experience migrating SharePoint environments into SharePoint Subscription Edition (SPSE).
  • Experience with advanced Power Automate development including API integrations, nested conditions, and parallel processing.
  • Experience handling migration validation, exception handling, and remediation activities.
  • Experience working within Agile environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $75-$95/hr depending on experience (Compliant with salary transparency laws, including California, New York, and Colorado).
