Job Title: RN – Ambulatory (Infusion)

Location: Syracuse, NY

Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

Schedule:

• Day Shift | 5x8 Hours
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Duration: 14 Weeks (High possibility of extension or permanent placement)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced RN – Ambulatory (Infusion) to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient infusion setting. The role includes patient assessments, infusion therapy administration, monitoring patient responses, and coordinating care within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in an ambulatory infusion setting
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor conditions
• Administer infusion therapies and medications safely and accurately
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment and follow-up care
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
• Deliver independent patient care with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Recent infusion nursing experience required
• Strong nursing assessment and patient care skills required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced ambulatory setting required
• Experience in equal or higher-level hospitals or trauma centers required
• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing required
• BSN required
• Active New York State RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Must meet background, health, and employment verification requirements
