Precast Concrete Production Lead

Step into a hands-on leadership role at a brand-new concrete manufacturing site. As a Precast Concrete Production Lead, you’ll help kick off day-one operations, rotate across key stations, and uphold quality and safety standards while working under the guidance of the Manufacturing Manager and Section Managers.

A day in this role

Morning starts with a production briefing and equipment checks. You’ll verify raw material availability, confirm mix settings, and coordinate with teammates on mold prep. Midday, you’ll move between batching, mold filling, demolding, and finishing, logging data as you go. By afternoon, you’ll run quality checks on finished pieces, complete housekeeping, and report any incidents or maintenance needs.

What you’ll do

Mixer & Batching

• Operate automatic concrete mixers and related electronic controls to produce consistent batches.
• Monitor mix quality against standards; maintain strict raw material inventory control.
• Fill molds/parts following established work procedures and parameters.

Mold Assembly & Demolding

• Assemble and disassemble molds with technical precision; verify correct setup before pouring.
• Identify deficiencies in mold condition and reinforcement that could impact final piece quality.
• Report any deviations or incidents promptly to your supervisor.

Crane Operations

• Transport the mixing bowl safely from the mixer to filling points; assist with accurate mold filling.
• Remove parts from molds and position molds/tables for assembly or disassembly.
• Support safe lifting operations with overhead cranes and related equipment.

Finishing

• Polish or pickle pieces to achieve defined finish standards using automatic and manual tools.
• Perform stripping using the designated dosing system, following training and supervisor instructions.

Quality, Safety, and Equipment Care

• Detect and document issues in raw or semi-finished materials and verify output meets specifications.
• Ensure strict adherence to Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental rules.
• Monitor performance of assigned machinery and control systems; escalate incidents immediately.

What you bring

• High school diploma or vocational/technical training (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of our products, precast manufacturing processes, and equipment (automatic mixers; basic office software for data entry).
• Strengths in analytical thinking, attention to detail, organization, autonomy, responsibility, teamwork, and commitment.

Tools & equipment you’ll use

• Hand tools: trowels, suction cup vibrators, ultrasonic needles, and more.
• Machinery: mixers, forklift trucks, cupolas, wagons, overhead cranes, pressure washers.

Safety & training

• Follow documented work instructions and safety signage at all times.
• Use assigned personal protective equipment (PPE); participate in required training and briefings.
