We are hiring for Medical Laboratory Scientist position at Providence St Elias Specialty Hospital, Anchorage, AK!

Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Day Shift, Hours Per Week as needed

Responsible for the accurate and timely processing, analysis, and reporting of moderate complexity laboratory testing with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Laboratory Technology or related area of specialty, or
  • 4 years of related medical technology experience; Or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
• Within 1 year of hire National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, or
• Within 1 year of hire National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, or
• Within 1 year of hire National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts, or
• Within 1 year of hire National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists, or
• Within 1 year of hire National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology
• 1 year in a Moderate or High Complexity Laboratory

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
