Job Title: Locum - Physician - Addiction Medicine

Summary:

Join a dedicated team in Omaha Nebraska working in a hospital setting renowned for performing over 3600 inpatient and outpatient surgeries annually. This position supports an array of responsibilities in a facility equipped with advanced medical technology and an enthusiastic support staff including anesthesia providers and techs. Your expertise in addiction medicine is vital to help address the staffing shortage and improve patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide independent patient care in a hospital environment.
• Perform addiction medicine assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Participate in weekend and evening on-call duties as scheduled.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Addiction Medicine (Required)
• Residency and/or fellowship training in a relevant specialty (Required)
• Clean malpractice history preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

License and Certification Requirements:

• Nebraska License preferred (Candidates with IMLC or willing to obtain a NE license will be considered)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification (Required)
• Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days prior to presentation (Required)
