Licensed Practical Nurse (1099)

Pay rate : $44.00 per hour (1099).

Contract length: 13 weeks

Job location : Marshall, MO

The hours/days available

• 6a-6p Sun, Mon, Tue, every other Wed
• 6a-6p Thurs, Fri, Sat every other Wed
• 6p-6a Sun, Mon, Tue, every other Wed

Scheduling

• Hours of operation are 24 hours, 7 days a week and overnight, holiday, and weekend shifts will be needed.
• Currently we are seeking 2 LPNs for the 6:00 am to 6:00 pm shift and 2 LPNs for the 6:00 pm to 6:00 am shift.
• They would always be working with NWCS staff in the home and would be required to work 3 twelve-hour shifts one week and 4 twelve-hour shifts the next week.

Description:

Services to be Performed: 

• Nursing direct care position accountable for assisting 3 clients with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, bed making, shaving, dressing, and other related tasks.
• Assists in checking vital signs, height, and weight as assigned; collects and maintains records of fluid intake and output 
• and reports on the condition of the clients.
• Responsible for providing daily and as needed trach care to one of the individuals residing in the home to include changing the inner cannula, changing the straps on the trach, suctioning as needed.
• Suction would include suction at the opening of the trach and orally along with deep suction. They would also work with his humidification, applying HME before showers or if going on an outing.
• Position would also assist with care for the g-tube and suprapubic catheter as well.
• Position would also do his nebulizer treatments, blood sugar checks, and possibly insulin depending on his glucose level.
• Position may also be responsible for passing medications to all individuals in the home.

Location of Services: In an individual's home in Slater, MO.
