Job Summary:
We are seeking a Bilingual Mandarin-English Content Moderator to support a rapidly growing social media and social commerce platform. This is a non-customer service, non-phone role focused on reviewing flagged content, user accounts, private messages, group chats, and appeals to ensure compliance with platform policies and community standards.
This position requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to make consistent decisions while working with potentially sensitive content. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
Review and moderate user-generated content, accounts, and activity based on platform guidelines
Evaluate reports involving private messages, group chats, and account behavior
Process content and account appeals, determining whether enforcement actions should be upheld or overturned
Apply policies consistently and accurately across all cases
Document moderation decisions and supporting rationale
Meet productivity, quality, and accuracy standards
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive content
Work within a structured, fast-paced moderation environment
Qualifications:
Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Familiarity with Chinese slang, social media terminology, and online culture
Minimum 6 months of experience in content moderation, trust & safety, fraud prevention, risk operations, e-commerce operations, or similar policy-based work preferred
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Comfortable reviewing content that may be sensitive, explicit, or disturbing
Reliable attendance and ability to work a fixed schedule
Basic computer and customer service skills
Must be able to pass computer, social media, and Mandarin language assessments
Schedule & Location:
On-site position in Morrow, GA
Training schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (approximately 4 weeks)
Operational hours: 8:00 AM - 2:00 AM EST, Monday-Saturday
